On February 21, 1999, Michael & Mary Ann George, owners of MSG Jewelers, presented opera superstar Luciano Pavarotti with this one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted set of cuff links. The presentation was made at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton, MO, after Pavarotti's performance at the Kiel Auditorium, in downtown St. Louis.
The design and manufacturing of this magnificent item was painstakingly produced over a four-month period of time, in which every bar of gold and every diamond was manufactured and set by hand. The design features over one carat of round brilliant diamonds that were picked by hand for this design by Mr. Michael George himself.
The design of the cuff links comes from the opera "Nessun Dorma," which happens to be Pavarotti's favorite song. The cuff links feature the musical notes to the first bar of music for that opera. With the originality of this design, we are sure that this special gift was received with pleasure by Pavarotti.
